    Oh, my brother and I wore many a pair of Toughskins jeans. When we wore the knees out they got an iron-on patch. Then in summer they got cutoff into shorts. The next school year the process started over.

    Same here then progressed to corduroys and finally jeans in HS.

    How about shoes. Always had K Mart Traks for tennis shoes and G.A.S.S. shoes for school.
