This is so true. My wife grabs the dogs' leashes and harnesses, then sets down to put on her walking shoes, meanwhile 180 pounds of amped up GSD's are going apeshit bouncing off things 'we're going for a walk.'
The other day the male had loose bowels and was barfing. He'd been lethargic for a couple days so I took him to the vet, I thought he was going to pee all over the truck when we pulled into the vet's.
Turned out to be a $265.00 Spa Day for him. I'm not sure who is the bigger idiot, me or him.
Adding nothing to the conversation since 2015....
We were looking after a friends >100lb dog a few weeks ago. He was nursing a cut on his paw and officially on restricted doodie/distance/duty.
