I completely agree. Hogs are varmints that cause millions of dollars in damage to agriculture annually.
But blowing them up with Tannerite (and doing a poor, sloppy job of it) is anything but hunting, and far from amusing.
Geniuses who decide to set up Tannerite and then shoot it have also contributed mightily to the banning of shooting on some public lands as a result of the number of forest and rangeland fires that have been caused by (or blamed for) such actions.
Hunting ethics are not as important as they once were, obviously. Especially when you can make cool videos to show off your handywork.
Don’t care, that is an ugly and unnecessarily cruel thing to do. Shoot them, trap them and shoot them, hunt them from a helicopter, have a big old hog drive and so forth. Eradication methods don’t have to be straight up cruel and torturous to the animals.
Yes, I do hunt.
Now, Mk 82s with an FMU-113 or DSU-33 nose sensor/prox fuse would be a different story. The 15 foot nominal height of burst would provide excellent effects, and no sounders to cry afterwards.

Sorta around sometimes for some of your shitty mod needs.
Not going to comment on the ethics of any pest control. That gets complicated.
I believe the M-44 cyanide ejector is still used by US Department of Agriculture’s Wildlife Services although some states have restricted it.
Here's a good article on their continued use.

I see coyotes during the day here almost every week. Never shot one because I have no reason to. Part of the landscape as far as I'm concerned. They travel through our property without much concern for people. We don't have feral pigs fortunately except there was a Pot Bellied pig on the loose not long ago that couldn't be captured. Tough little buggers.
