Buncha boomer a holes were picking up behind me at the range a few months ago. I was shooting a few mags of older Federal HST. I guess they liked the nickel plated cases? Creeped me out. Pick up your own freaking brass. I grabbed the broom and swept them all forward (it is a "lost brass" rule range - clearly posted you can only collect your own.)
