I sometimes refer to her as "Murder Machine". One of her endearing features is that she barely conceals the predator underneath the fuzzy wuzzy exterior.

A buddy’s wife was taking a walk with one of their dogs a few years back. My friend watched them from a hill with his binos & saw that a mountain lion was stalking them. It had been a very hard winter & the surviving predators were very hungry.
She started carrying the family 1911 on walks after that.

Dogs are the best. I would get one if I wasn't out of my apartment 14 hours a day. I need to get a room mate with a dog. I watch dog videos on YouTube when I need to distract myself from how shitty people are.
