Birdwatchers can be touchy. On a photography forum we were discussing a new telephoto zoom lens that is optimized for longer distances which for me is a plus - I don’t do bird photography where the subject is close in. I expressed satisfaction about this design choice, and was accused of being a hater because I didn’t care about what the dickiebird people need.
