Yep, I find myself explaining the difference between high-flow nasal cannula and regular nasal cannula like once a year to a new EMT.
ETA: meaning: obviously we use NRB in EMS, but an EMT will see high-flow O2 through a high-flow nasal cannula system somewhere and then try to push 15L through regular.

Yup. That’s partly because EMS markets itself as “heroically saving lives” instead of just “helping people who are having a bad day”. Our typical call — if there is such a thing — was probably an elderly patient not feeling well.Pretty sure I meet this EMT every year.
