Generally speaking, I think the rifle market has already accepted composite stocks on almost everything. Shotguns have always been a holdout in the higher price range doubles, but here we are.

I first noted the decline when I saw my first stock with a knot in it a few years ago. Can't remember for sure but I think it was on a Beretta.
