I wore out a few rear wheel drive patrol cars as a city cop and state trooper. I cannot tell you the number of roll overs and crashes I responded to as a Trooper in the winter in Idaho while I was driving a Crown Vic. Guys and soccer moms in 4wheel drives


Always the same two comments. "I don't know what happened" and "But I am a good driver, really". (Never mind the fact that they were doing 80 on black ice when they lost control ) Rear wheel drive Crown Vics with good tires would get to some pretty impressive places.

There is actually a video of some guy who took one up some climbs in Moab I think it is. They are pretty impressive cars.

Hated my first detective car that was front wheel drive . Traded it in for a truck.

True. I spent the first 35 years of my life there, North Brunswick, Hillsborough, Califon , Manville, etc. Got out before 1 gun a month, 10 rd, etc.

Approaching Newark is a smell like no other.

Let's not forget the refineries, downtown Bayonne, and low tide in Secaucus.
I lived in NJ for 49 years, sooooooo glad to be gone!
