That gives me a sad. What was even worse was when they started using old F-16s from the Boneyard as aerial target drones. I was peripherally involved in the program, and could do nothing but watch it happen.

The oldest production F-16 would be, at most, 44 years old.
But it’s been long since retired.
Here a ‘91 model, being flown by 30-something me over Iraq in 1999.
