I saw them the Fall of 1978, although it was in San Diego and not NYC. They opened for an up-and-coming band called Van Halen. I was 17, and it was a great way to start my senior year of HS.
I also have hazy memories of the show, but before the show I do remember passing around a milk jug filled with Southern Comfort and Squirt in the back of my friend's LTD wagon.
Zeppelin in '77.I bet I'm the only fucker on P-F that saw Black Sabbath perform that at the Fillmore East in NYC back in 1971. I had just turned 18 a few months earlier.
