I wore one for about 30 years, until my shoulder was messed up and I couldnt operate it. It was a high quality copy, stamped sheet brass face with lead filled back.Not many of us have lasted 159 years!
I have one of my partners updated U.S. Cavalry buckles he gave me to wear with my load bearing gear for the SRT uniform when I joined the team in the late 80's.
He was a captain in an armored scout unit and the buckle was like a good luck talisman for me during the years I was on SRT.
