We have an outside cat, he's neutered, friendly as hell and rotates between three houses. Sometimes he'll be gone for a couple days and the neighbors will ask 'have you seen Junior?' usually about the fourth day he'll show back up.
Despite myself I really like him, except when he jumps up on the bench while I'm working.
