My parents had some of his albums when I was a kid.
I was doing serving/busing at a party my parents had for their friends and my dad's co-workers at our home. Someone mentioned Tom Lehrer, so my brother and I began singing The Vatican Rag.
It seemed that about a third of the people there were devout (or devoutish) Catholics. The performance didn't go over well. Dad was angry enough that he wanted to skip corporal punishment and go to sergeant punishment. Mom talked him down and we got off with a lecture on being socially appropriate.
