Also didn't hurt I'd been zapped numerous times working on house wiring with my dad and was kind of used to the zing. It was kind of fun!

did the same thing as a kid, plugging in the Christmas tree.
Trying to help, my fingers were touching the prongs when I plugged it in.
Lit!!!! me up, and burned my hand...but taught a valuable lesson:
you really don't need the lights to snoop thru the presents.
