Yeah, click the tailcap to deploy a cartridge. Twist the barrel above the clip to retract. Rotate the pen horizontally to select which cartridge deploys. Cartridges are limited, but I'll take the tradeoff, for it's utility.

I have a black cartridge in place of the blue

I don’t know if the pen or the fact you made a video to explain the pen is cooler.
    Thank you

I know people want pens to be used for defensive uses but let me say that the energel refill is the best there is out there. Smooth, non-goopy (like g2), ink dries on paper super quick, and doesn't dry up in refill body. This pen has it all.

ETA - the normal blue refill is waterproof too even though it doesn't say it is. No smearing whatsoever.

Gentlemen--Do any of you have experience with this pen from Everyman:https://everyman.co/? I'm intrigued. Thanks.

I carry this one from Olight now. Sturdy, lightweight, and has a rechargeable light built in. Comes apart so that the light and pen may be used separately. Capless rollerball and comes with an extra refill. I dig it.

I have not but I’ve been curious about it. They appear to do a good job advertising. I’ve heard mixed reviews but most were positive

I've been using a Rick Hinderer Knives Investigator Pen. I quite like it. Much smaller and more, well, pen-like than a lot of the overly aggressively designed tactical pens.

I really like my Tuff Writer mini click pen. I think I have carried it for at least 6 years and I have only had one small problem with it which was rectified by the folks at Tuff Writer.

I am less likely to use it as a weapon now that I have gone through some training with Cecil, but when I purchased it I was flying commercial into and out of Afghanistan 3 times a year for several years and I wanted something I could get through security with no issues. When I was going through Qatar regularly they would give us a ration of shit of we were wearing what they considered "roughs"... I could never get a good answer on what was considered roughs from the Qataris.

I also like the fact that they are a small business and manufacture here in the USA. I am trying to purchase less from PRC and more from USA and other friendly nations.
