Thread: Guns and Ammo article on The Roland Special Glock 19

The Roland is an enthusiast's pistol, and I've already invested about $2000 in a G19, custom work, optic, and the various accessories to assemble one..it is probably for the best if I don't stop and add up the bill. I'm sure I'll be happy having this holster for it.
Yeah I can see if you are already invested in the brand the attachments help. For me it's just too much.

I did some checking through old posts and found the thread.

    Lots of good commentary IMO.

Am I wrong to want screw a compensator on the threaded barrel of a HK VP9 tactical?

Notable progress today...I've been giving the Roland Special the lion's share of my training time since the New Year and it is starting to payoff. Today was the first day that I was able to get my FAST times with the Roland down to times comparable with my Glock 34 numbers. I had clean 5.6 and 5.8 runs today. The single biggest delta between my times with irons and the dot was on the draw...I had not been able to get my first shot time under 2 seconds with the Roland. Today I managed to get it down to 1.85 and 1.91 on the two runs above. That said, reloads remain my 'low-hanging fruit', as I continue to hover in the 2.2-2.4 second range. I plan to continue to concentrate on reloads during my dry fire practice.

I've made one minor change to the Roland since I posted my original pictures; I've swapped the RCS Freya magwell for the Agency Arms, in order to use the GEN4 beavertail.

Better than the movie. I haven't read any Steven King in years though.
