Experience with Pinnacle High Performance Gunsmithing ?

So I have a 6 1/2" S&W M624 and I'm wanting to have cut to 5" to match my M27's. I find it the perfect an frame barrel length.

I contacted SDM Fabricating but his back log is over two years and he said he may stop doing Gunsmithing once he is caught up.

He suggested I try Pinnacle High Performance Gunsmithing.

He is a former Tool and fine maker and a member of the Anerican Pistol smiths guild so it appears promising.

Does anyone have experience with therm or have a suggestion for someone who could do the work ?

Is the barrel chop something Frank Glenn or Clark Custom would do ?

I sent him my 442 a few years ago. He converted it to work with 9mm spring clips. I can shoot 9mm or 38 spl. He also ported it and put a fiber optic sight on it. Worked great ever since.

Hmmm, looks like he could convert my 38 special LCR to 9mm

But for 230 it's probably too steep. Cool to know he can though.

The 9mm J-frames (940) and 9mm Ruger LCR are/were all, AFAIK, built on a steel frame.

Converted aluminum 442s or aluminum LCRs would make me incredibly nervous in 9mm...

Is that a J frame or a K frame in the photo ? I'm thinking it might be a k as that is a six shot moon clip.
