    I'm one of "those people" who shoot carry ammo into water jugs for my own amusement and reference.

    Yesterday, a DPX +P 110 Grain didn't exit the 2nd gallon milk jug. I'm not saying it is scientific, but in comparison to every other type of defensive ammunition I've used... that one seemed to penetrate to a very shallow depth.

    The ultrafast ultralight bullets have tended to make shallow but messy wounds the few times I've seen them used for real shootings.

    The DPX used to be a good loading, and was Doc tested, there appears to have been a change in the bullet, and not for the better.

    I believe the "new" DPX is using CorBon produced bullets and not Barnes.

    That's not good.

    DPX was supposed to be Deep Penetration X, wasn't it?
