I have put the "heavy" TRS in my carry HKs for this very reason; it, and the "flat" sear spring, are the two parts that we have seen more than a few failures of in over the years. None of my dozen HK pistols have broken anything- yet- but I'm certainly not thinking they won't ever.

Because this thread I just picked up 3-4 TRS (can't remember haha), the pliers, and roll pins. Mostly for my training/work hourse p2000

That is a good thing regardless. Though it is most definitely if you're running a heavy TRS. It has been my experience and been voiced by others that the light TRS tends to have a longer life than the heavy one. YMMV though.Originally Posted by breakingtime91
