    I got mine last year and it's not even close to daytime bright. First time at the range I thought the batteries were dead and it was on 11. Went inside and it was nice and bright - just not bright enough to use on a sunny day outside. Now, the reticle is large enough to get by, but not as a red, lit reticle.
