Some of the guys were asking about the carbon fiber pencil, aka "Get Off Me" Tool #4 so I made up a quick video.

I'm with you there and already thought about that.

The pencil is not something I'd see myself carrying EDC, for a number of reasons. I mostly like it because it's just plain cool. But, there are also situations where something like this would be useful and the glass punch idea wouldn't work.

I've found in testing that the glass punch is rather stabby. But yeah, I get it.

Dude. As a guy who spends a bit of each week in places where a #2 pencil is the single most common object seen, I think my heart just skipped a beat. Remember the 80s when the slang "tubular" described something as being awesome/excellent, in addition to being tube shaped?
