55 grains of one of the 4350 variants in any case with any primer and a good 180. If your rifle doesn't shoot this load well, then something is wrong with it. Same goes for 57/4350 and a good 165.

Looking for subsonic 300 Blackout loads. Looking for good low cost components to build ammo for shooting steel 10-100 yards. Subsonic 300 Blackout should be like shooting 45ACP 230gr+P as far as safety and target damage. Right?

There will be a little more damage due to the pointed projectiles, but that shouldn't matter to steel.

A lot depends on your barrel length. I use Leatherhead 220s at 2.12 COAL and 9.9gr of 1680, however that's less powder than many others as my .300Blk is an 11.5" barrel.

What dies do you use? Do you have a special die to expand the casemouth? Do you have to crimp after seating the bullets? I have used carbide expander balls in rifle dies and they do reduce effort/stress on the person and the shell case. I recommend carbide expander balls bottleneck shell cases.

Yes, and I now have plenty in my stockroom! AA2230 is by far my favorite 5.56 55gr powder.
