DuluthFlex Fire Hose Relaxed Fit Foreman Pants

Just picked up a pair of these - https://www.duluthtrading.com/mens-d...nts-45704.html

Though not really "cargo pants" they have deep pockets, a deep zipper pocket where the useless "coin pocket" usually resides and a cell phone pocket on the right leg. The zipper pocket is perfect for carrying a Malkoff MD3 size (three 123 cell) flashlight. Best of all, the pants are comfortable, have plenty of room to move in and have some stretch, even in the waist band, without looking the least bit "tactical."

I'm picky about pants but I just ordered another pair of these.

Just purchased and now returning two pairs of the Carlos Rays. They fit okay but construction seems sporadic, a couple of mis-sewn seams.

Tru-spec is having a sale until 31 Oct, 20% off. I've used their Expedition pants for SOTA (Summits on the Air) hiking in some fairly extreme conditions, bushwhacking, etc. The Tru-specs are robust, reinforced where they need to be and fit comfortably. Plenty of pockets with ones specially designed for cell phone, knife, spare mag, etc.

24/7 xpedition is a surprisingly good outdoor pant. SAR/brush/chore/range/hunt/etc pant, not everyday around town, but GTG. One of the better <$100 options of its type. https://www.truspec.com/24-7-series/...pedition-pants

    Kinda off topic maybe but…

Trying to find a kind of universal pant. Something khaki-ish stretch material would be great. No iron. Elastic waist of some sort without looking like sweat pants. Non-cargo. Non-iron would be great.

Just looking for something that could do multi-duty in a pinch. Casual, work, outdoors potentially. Pair with a t-shirt or a polo or button down if needed. Sneakers or boots or flip flops.

5.11 makes a chino-type slack that is close to what you’re looking for. I’ve got two of them, one black and one “stone” (off white).

The quote above is a rough spec of my Maier Sports trousers, model "Nil":

It's a German product, don't know how easily you can get it in the US. What I like most about it is that it's extremely comfortable and very lightweight. It's for warm temperatures.

I think by "non-cargo" you mean no side pockets, but wanted to throw these options out there. These all are flat, low profile pockets and come in plain colors. Highly functional, may pass work scrutiny some places. Zipper pulls are removable.
