    Snake oil for shotguns...

Its refreshing to see that the good idea fairy has not neglected those partial to shotguns for HD/etc.

Two colleagues of mine are headed to Vegas, and one of them is going specifically to see just how much similar-to-this charlantanisms (hey, is that a word??) he can spot.

And just how much does that machined brass case, copper slug, death dealing hominid killer retail for per round? $17.00 each?

Down the road from Quantrill's big raid.
I'll bet those are exciting to fire from a gun with a full choke.

This does what that a Brenneke doesn't do? Or a Foster slug, or ....?

I wouldn't stand in front of it, and you've got to admit, it really does look completely sickhouse.

Meh. Combination of solving a problem no one had and running in clown shoes just to be different.

I'm sure it offers good terminal effects on shallow targets. However, I'm sure that each round is insanely expensive and thus, the juice is not worth the squeeze.

12ga slugs have been rightly known as good stoppers on dangerous game, but tend to over-penetrate in hominids.
When an article starts with this, I'm pretty sure they've never bothered to look at a gel test with high velocity foster slugs, which is the vast majority of the slugs out there, or seen what they do to people.

What do these slugs do that Flite Control doesn't do at most HD and police shooting distances?

    A game changa!

Is over penetration of shotgun slugs a concern?

I note that this is specifically aimed at box-fed shotguns; I've never fired one, so do Saigas and whatever others out there have issues feeding standard constructions shells? Of course, all brass cases have been with us for over a century, but these days they're more common for Cowby Action Shooting than anything else.

    Drain your wallet faster?

I'm scared to see what these are retailing for.
