    S&W Model 66-2 2.5" barrel

I was wandering through a small town pawn shop down here in Texas and ran across a S&W 66-2 that was in excellent shape. I am an N frame guy but this peaked my interest. Any one know what a 66-2 in great shape is worth these days? Thanks.

I love those guns. I wish they would make new ones.

Magnum revolvers command premium prices around Corpus.....usually quite a bit more than new soulless plastic people poppers.

Somewhere north of $500 would be a best estimate.

If I could find a great condition 66 for $600, I'd buy it. I would say that anything less is good deal.

You did really well. 2.5'ers command big dollars.

Good score. In My neck of the woods they bring surprising high amounts of money in great condition. I always loved mine.

Here in Idaho they run 600-700 if you can find one! And that's the trick! I looked for 10 years to find mine!
