Pulp Fiction, The Wild Bunch, Evil Dead 2, and The Dirty Dozen.

HEAT
Blade Runner
No Country For Old Men
Firefly
In no particular order, Apocalypse Now, A Serious Man, No Country for Old Men, and Frank Miller's Sin City.
On a side note, and for what it's worth, Apocalypse Now and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory have identical story lines: a bunch of people are chosen basically at random to get on a boat and go up a river to meet with a madman. There are musical interludes and most of the boat's passengers get picked off along the way, then the hero takes over the madman's kingdom.

If I had to pick one (and it's really, REALLY tough to pick just one): Shane
In a sort of ghastly simplicity we remove the organ and demand the function. We make men without chests and expect of them virtue and enterprise. We laugh at honour and are shocked to find traitors in our midst. We castrate and bid the geldings be fruitful.” ― C.S. Lewis, The Abolition of Man
