Thread for notes on things I find about various ammo as I shoot it. (mods, if things are getting messy, let me know and we can discuss some housekeeping.)

Ammo: Freedom Munitions FM9R147R lot# 25DC0632
Indoor 25yrd range, shooting at 10m, air temp: below freezing.

Beretta 92G: Ammo was keyholing. I noticed it when my male British guest (Tanker Jim) was shooting it and the impact marks looked all wrong. Wasn't all of them either. I guess environmental conditions contributed to the bullet not getting enough jimmy rustling to stabilize.
HK P30L: No signs of keyholing. Impact marks were perfectly fine.

Seems this ammo might not like the combination of cold and the Beretta. Should have probably tried shooting some from my P2000 I bought, but didn't think of it until after we'd left.

Ammo: Freedom Munitions FM9R115R lot# 10CC0105
Beretta 92G: NO keyholing. Shot by my Polish guest (Jolly Jola.)
