    $450 is a good price these days on a non-P&R fixed sight gun? Or is that because it's a 3"?

    Yes. Mostly because it's a 3" and a 357 vs 38

    The days of cheap agency trade-in fixed sight revolvers are coming to a close.

    Just like $99 SKS are now $300 or $400.

    It's mine now. Couldn't wait until afternoon. I'll update with pics in a few minutes. Next steps are a DAO hammer, secret service grips, and a bit of orange nail polish.

    Great score. If you only had to have one revolver.......that is a good one. I used one for a couple years as my first off duty gun and as a third gun for working heavy details. You'll be happy. Thanks for getting it.......I needed another one like a hole in the head
