Thread: A Pistol For Every Budget

I ordered a new 642 (no lock) from my LGS this summer for $409. It took all the mystery out of buying a used revolver. decent pocket carry holsters are cheap too

It's the only Taurus I'd ever consider recommending someone anymore, but I've seen pretty good results with the PT-92.

It's obv not Beretta good, but it's not Beretta money either.

I'm heartily on board the PPS train if it's just for CC.

I made you an audio file to use as a ring tone (works, checked it on my phone) but there is some problem uploading it with my post as an attachment. PM me your email address and I'll send it to you that way. Then you just put it in your phone and designate it as the ring tone.

I tried .wma, .wav, and .mp3, but none worked. Got a message that the file was invalid on all of them.

Thanks for your assistance with this glorious project!

Understood. I know about DIY electronic music production through about 2005, but have paid no attention since so I am way behind the times and get lost with some of this too. I think .mp3 would be best (I am guessing more likely to work on more devices.) 468 kb is the biggest one I tried. I could do a smaller one if needed too.

Might need to be an .mp4 to be visible to a phone as a ringtone. At least in iTunes...I think...
