    Not a 5" Challenge ... a 4"x6" Challenge

GS and I hit the range, again. I consistently shot like shit, except for this drill.

    JV's time (Glock 17 + Shaggy + Gadget):

    2.36 Clean
    2.31 -1
    2.25 Clean
    2.42 -1
    2.25 Clean
    2.41 -1

I was trying to push myself, and probably need to dial it back a bit to shoot 5 clean runs. My first round hit was pretty consistent @ 1.38, and the splits where in the low .2s. The primary difference between this run and the previous runs, which were just shy of 3s, was my comfort level with the GripForce adapter.

    Stock "5" drill, no modifications?

I used a 4" x 6" purple index card, is it close enough? All of my misses were high.

Works for me, dude. Sounds like you made it a bit harder for yourself.

    Technically, a 4x6 is bigger than a 5" circle.

There's always one in the crowd.

Knowing JV as well as I do, I know that he'd care if he was comparing his hits on a target that had 22% greater area than intended.

You bet, I want an honest comparison. I'll shoot the real one tomorrow night.

I need to keep a better supply of targets on hand so I don't do a "close enough" again.

It's just that I was pretty excited to have a 1.38s first hit, but if the target's bigger, I can't fairly compare it to my previous run.

I averaged my times with the 4x6 card vs the official target. I had 15 runs from both - with 2 additional misses on the official target. My average time was .07 faster on this target.
