Gotcha. The new shotgun looks very sweet.

Gotta say ya had me w/ that one George, thought of him in various forms but not a Ptilonorhynchidae.

Awaiting a castle nut tool that Lon generously offered to lend to me to remove the existing fore-end and replace it with a DSF-870. a black Magpul SGA is en route as well.

Unfortunately it looks like my DSF is an older stock model that drains batteries like crazy. Any experience with Surefire in addressing this issue? I'll be calling them in the AM.

Dumped a hundred rounds through the HK/Benelli M1 Super 90 after work the other morning. Sitting in the safe, unfired, for several years...still runs like a champ.

Here is my 870P that I bought used quite a few years ago and have recently taken a new interest in. I added the Magpul stock and forend, put a new magazine spring in it, and bought one of the ever so slightly enlarged Wilson safeties. I'll probably add a Tritium bead next and perhaps a little bit of rail to attach a Surefire X300u.

Just a Hairy Special Snowflake supply clerk with no field experience, shooting an Asymetric carbine as a Try Hard. Snarky and easily butt hurt. Favorite animal is the Cape Buffalo....likely indicative of a personality disorder.
