    The machine work on this old girl is absolutely amazing.
    A pleasure to hunt, and at the ready at home.
    This is mine.

    Lemme try this again;

    Here's the story behind:

    I was still living in NJ, and walked into my dealer's storefront to see this shotgun standing in the corner, with it's barrel literally hacked off at 26", at an angle. I inquired, and Jim tells me that he paid 20 bucks for it at an estate sale, and that there's something wrong with the action,because the slide won't move to the rear.

    Never owning a 12, I ask what he wanted for it, and he replied 'gimme 50 bucks and it's yours.
    Couldn't get the money out fast enough.
    Those who know, the 12 requires recoil, or a small push forward on the slide to release it!

    I sent it off to Briley in Tx, where they cut her to 25 1/2", and installed their thin wall choke system and an ivory bead... At the time I believe it was $185 and included 3 chokes of choice. I soaked all the internals in fast orange, and the years of crud wiped right off.
    It's become my go to turkey gun, foul weather gun, behind the back door gun.
    I really like the 16 gauge, and now have 3 shotguns chambered in it.
