Down to 207 as of today (down 46lbs since Feb) it was tough. Bar felt thin and the smith machine which is what I have to make due with sets the bar higher a couple of inches so starting of the floor was a little tougher.

I did a heavyish workout earlier that left me pretty worn out so I could probably go a little heavier when fresh.

Hit the garage after work last night. I was melting. Squats were rough.

Lost weight and got stronger? I’m jealous.

    Still running Arm Farm.

Lots of heavy bench, curls, incline press, ohp, pressdowns and some squats.

The humidity in DFW has been brutal. It got so humid that all my equipment started sweating, when I started this morning there was probably a 10 degree difference between the garage and outside and there was condensation on the bars.

Might be a good time for me to change direction and focus on grip for a few months in the comfort of my living room.
Whether you think you can or you can't, you're probably right.

Despite it being stupid hot and humid I still got stupid with the grip work.

105lb Inch dumbbell trainers from 3” deficit.
255 slightly wide axle deficit deadlift and 205 snatch grip (with lifting straps to protect my cans)
Broke 295 axle off the floor, then it just rolled out of my hands.
Some rogue globe pullups and zercher squats to finish it off.

Started off at 188lbs finished at 185, that’s with 72 ounces of water.
Whether you think you can or you can't, you're probably right.

25 minute start to finish, bench work, including set up and tear down.

Few sets of Bandbell bench at 95 and 135 pounds.
Bench at 135x5, 185x5 and 225x8, followed up with close grip at 225 with a shoulder saver
Rows at 135x10, 185x10, 225x8, and followup set at 20ish x 185 with lots of bar humping.
Pullups 5,5 and 12 with a short hang.

Not a great workout, but good enough when pressed for time.

My normal working set is 3x5.

With a working load of 265, I did 4 for my first set. 2nd set I only did 1 rep before I racked the bar and deloaded to 225. Did 4 reps, said "screw it" and went to OHP and DL's.
Did all 3x5 @ 265 and passed easily. Still a grind, but easy.

I cheated on my keto diet over the weekend so I think maybe the lack of carbs is starting to show it's face in the gym. Or it was the sunday rest.... though according to Fitbit I only got 4 hours of sleep, bicycle commute, and worked a normal 10 hour welder's shift.

But I'm thinking it's the addition of carbs/glycogen (or is it glucose?) in my system.

    EDIT: In italics.

If I don’t get enough carbs I feel horrible.

Just went for 405 on DL again, got it 50% before I felt pass out city approaching. Couldn’t finish the lift. Time to take a step back and refocus.
