I have yet to shoot one, but I have got to play with/take apart one. While I prefer a Glock, this is not a terrible gun. For a $300 and under gun, I would take this over a Taurus ANY day... not my favorite, but for a extreme budget conscious shooter, it is serviceable.

Summarized; it shoots but you can't hit anything with it. I'll pass.

I had higher hopes for that pistol...but the reason for a hogleg being under 300 bucks is gonna show up somewhere...at least it runs. Good review as always Pat.

I too was disappointed. All for the lack of a barrel of the correct size. IF IF I get around to hand loading I will try some .358" bullets.

Over the years I have seen a range of 9mm barrels in 355 to 358 and also 38/357 barrels in 355 to 358. Have you contacted Ruger to see if they will provide a 355 barrel?

Pretty much what I saw, too. (Good to know that the 7"+ groups were not just me. )

Still, for a budget defense pistol, it's the best choice in an otherwise dismal class.

I can explain it to you. I can’t understand it for you.

Finally had a chance to watch this. Very well-done review, and fun to watch you shoot -- not something I can say about most video reviews I've seen. Thank you!
