Not much to complain about, here. PF is the only place that I pay to be a member of, which says what I think about the value for money.
My only suggestion would be to consider adding sub-tier forums, below Regional Training, for Regions:
https://pistol-forum.com/forumdispla...ional-Training
Right now, all "regions" are lumped into a linear list.
Which is ok, I guess, but it'd be (for me) easier to go to my region to either post a question, or review of a shop, or have a discussion with folks that are geographically close.
For example, I would maybe want to sponsor a p-f.com get-together here in Tampa at my local gun range. It'd be nice to put that in the region-specific sub-forum for my area.
Organization be up to what makes sense, but could be something like:
US/Canada
-- California
-- Great Lakes (IL, IN, MN, OH, MI, WI)
-- Mid-Atlantic (DC, MD, DE, PA, VA, WV)
-- NY / NJ / CN
-- Southeast (AL, AR, GA, FL, KY, LA, MS, NC, SC, TN
-- Great Plains / Rocky Mountains
-- New England (MA, ME, NH, RI, VT)
-- Pacific NW (OR, WA, ID, HI, AK)
-- Southwest (AZ, NM, NV, OK. TX, UT)
International
-- Canada
-- Australia
-- UK
-- Europe
-- Asia
On p-f.com, there are 149 threads in Regional, vs. 15,967 on the rest of the site, or a ratio of about 0.009.
I am on a fancy-pants German car forum, with 823,748 total threads, 9,720 of which are in Regional. This is a ratio of 0.012, or 10X what PF has in regional .
I think a bit of that is due to the fact it's in sub-forums.
