    Wait.

    Nevermind.

Actually, I have sold most (still have 7 or 8, all TSGs) my 1911s. I got back into benchrest (I'm a 600/1000yrd guy), and am currently tripping out on BHPs. My life changed for the better recently, now I have new priorities.

Probably because the NRA is fucking around with the management of the competitive shooting programs. Tom Hughes, the long time manager of the Pistol programs, resigned after they took away much of his staff, and the Bianchi Cup suffered losing a majority of the sponsors.

Since this PFestivus, I'd just like to offer a hardy PFuk You, dude.

Now if you'll excuse me, I've got to go piss by echolocation.

Engineering degrees are great, but they don't mean you really know anything about the application of firearms or realistic designs that work. I'm sure his finish was great, though.

Arne Boberg is a very successful engineer and has zero of the bad attributes as a human being that Riehl does. He also put foot to ass and actually built a successful pistol using his design theories with a positive attitude, instead of telling everyone that they didn't know what they were doing and that oil is inappropriate to lubricate a firearm with.

His posts about how to impress women are probably the most telling evidence of his douchebaggedness.

I would rather have to listen to 50 Rob_S's than that jerkoff.
I'm not quite sure why you carry that hate-torch for me quite so enthusiastically.

But to set the story straight, what, exactly, did I do to people that was so despicable? Unless John Johnston is complaining to you about me, there are only two other people I've done anything for that aren't close friends of mine. One was a guy I coated a CZ for that was full of cracks and sand pits. I moved mountains to get that gun as good as possible because it was his first gun when I should have just refused to work on a gun with cracks in the frame, slide, and small parts. Other than that, I did a BCG for a guy, and the firing pin hole was on the small side and I replaced it with a check for a new, complete BCG. Is that what you are referring to? I have FredM's FN for a little while, again for free work done, didn't get to it before the ugliness, and sent it back. I only opened the box to log the serial number.

I did learn a very valuable lesson about a few people though.

If not for "Giddy Dick" this would be the thread winner. Well earned silver medal.

Side note, I just noticed your avatar is Magnum PI. Will you be my friend?

I don't really post enough to dislike anybody. Sometimes I have political disagreements with people in the romper room but I don't claim to have a monopoly on being correct so I never really take that personally. All in all I find that you guys are a great source of information and entertain my general knowledge deficit rather kindly. This is kind of an anti-PFestivus post ....sorry.

Well a good case of Giddy Dick sure makes it harder to use the echolocation technique.

And I will totally be your friend.

Say, Friend, can I borrow $5?
