Anyone who watches a meaningful drama nominated for an Academy Award should have to wear a badge of shame to the next competition or gun class.

The NRA or someone should run a gun usage Movie Awards Show.

    1. Best handgun usage
    2. Best shotgun usage
    3. Best full auto long arm
    4. Best semi long arm
    5. Best reload under fire

Watched the first episode of "Strike Back" (cinemax). Didn't even know of the show's existence until the other day. I'll try to watch a couple more episodes tonight to see if it's worth watching the entire series.

    Which one?

There is a sort of prequel (before Cinemax bought the show) with one English guy as the hero (played by Thorin Oakenshield) and the second one with a pair of heroes, an american (played by an Australian now on Blindspot) and a Brit (played by an Englishman born in Wyoming).

I liked the second show better for the first couple of seasons. After that it started getting a bit repetitive and lame.

Yeah, I think it's the prequel with Andrew Lincoln from The Walking Dead.

That's right, I had forgotten he was in there too.

It's good, there are only 6 episodes in the season, I think but worth watching. After that one, try the second, I think you'll enjoy it too. It's not great TV but it's a fun ride.

After watching the first episode of "Six" anything would be a step up.

Thanks, I'll probably throw it on in a little bit after the missus gets tired of pre-season baseball.

Not the last movie I saw, but one I have seen multiple times because I like it so much: "I am David".

It is about a young boy who escapes a communist prison camp and flees to western Europe.

Quite a bit of "nick of time" derring do. Not very subtle...

Saw "Brimstone" with Guy Pearce and Dakota Fanning.

It was a dark, sadistic, and needlessly cruel depiction of man's dark side.

I did not find it remotely entertaining.

    Zero out of five.
