Thread: What was the last TV Show or Movie you saw, and did you like it?

Train to Busan (2016) -- Netflix

A very unusual zombie flick. South Korean movie with subtitles. Not your typical 'shoot 'em in the head' affair. Not only does it give a glimpse into that culture but also has a remarkably good 'human' story developing underneath all that infection -- with a diverse array of characters spanning the socioeconomic and heroic spectra.

I rate it a 9/10. I really enjoyed this one.
You will more often be attacked for what others think you believe than what you actually believe. Expect misrepresentation, misunderstanding, and projection as the modern normal default setting. ~ Quintus Curtius

It's still pretty slow, but the story is enough to keep my interest. It does have a Scandinavian feel it. Episodes 4 -6 kind of lost me, with episode 6 really pushing some things I'd rather not watch. I'm going to finish the series only because I'm into it this far. The show has potential that they aren't capitalizing on.

Justified was such a good show. Anyone who hasn't watched it should be doing that right now.

Best things about Justified were Natalie Zea's legs...

Yup. I hadn't heard of her before seeing Justified. Now I watch stuff just because she's in it.

My family and I were convinced the timed channel change I had programmed in for some shows kicked in.

A thematically amazing finale for an entire series.

Watching "The Good Place" on Netflix with the wife and offspring. Very amusing, and the end of season 1 had a twist none of us saw coming.

My wife has been watching that too. It's pretty funny.

    1944 on Prime.

An Estonian movie about the Eastern Front WW2 service of Estonian SS. Pretty realistic. This clip shows some intense trench fighting.
