My roomie said that it was sort of a Quentin Tarantino knockoff, but without the over-the-top humor and violence.

I enjoy true crime documentaries and found this one on youtube. It ended up being better than expected.

No, it was a typical Guy Ritchie film, ala Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, RocknRolla, etc. Pretty entertaining with a lot of moving parts that required the viewer to pay attention. Pretty good work by Hugh Grant, Charlie Hunnam and Colin Farrell. I looked at my oldest son and said, "Next Christmas, plaid track suits."
We may lose and we may win, but we will never be here again.......

I am a big Guy Ritchie fan. The Gentlemen was quite solid. A-.

Layer Cake is probably my favorite.

We've been watching the series "The Good Place" on Netflix. Kristen Bell and Ted Danson are very funny and the premise of the show is interesting. There are 3 seasons out on Netflix. I'm sure the 4th and final season will be there shortly.

I saw a couple seasons of The Good Place and it was a good show. Funny with an interesting premise.

I watched Brittany Runs a Marathon. An overweight woman leads a vapid existence drinking and doing drugs and when she trys to con a doctor into giving her a prescription for Adderol he gives her a wake-up call which leads to her turning he life around and wanting to run the NYC marathon. Pretty funny with a little drama thrown in. Jillian Bell (who was in Workaholics) is great and apparently the story was inspired by the writer/director's roomate.
