It was better than Predator, but that's a low bar.

    Was the book any good?

The book was decent. Worth a read but not a masterpiece.

We gave the new season a try.

The Mayo Clinic: Faith - Hope -Science is a Ken Burns flick on PBC. At times, it feels more like an infomercial than a documentary. Unless you have a connection to the clinic, I’d give it a hard pass.

Just watched How It Ends on Netflix. It's another one of those movies where something happens that causes society to collapse but the movie is about how crazy people get without law and order. Not terrible but there are better ways to spend that time.

Reminds me of It Comes At night. Nothing actually comes at night really. Some disease causes society to collapse, they never really get into that and there are other unanswered questions. But the movie is really about a family after the apocalypse and they find another family so they agree to move in together but they never really grow to to trust each other and that eventually comes to a head. Pretty slowed paced and meh as well.

Watched A Quiet Place. It was good. I'm a fan of Krasinski so it was neat to see him in a movie he produced and also starred his wife, Emily Blunt. I wasn't super impressed with the ending but it was still a good movie. Kept me on the edge of my seat nearly the whole time.
