    Unfortunately true. They did manage to take one of the few interesting things King has written and remove all of the interesting bits.

    King has terrible taste in movies. If he was involved in the production, I'm not surprised it's terrible.

    I watched True Grit yesterday. I found it to be quite entertaining.

    (I was a bit puzzled by the fact that while the main character is a girl, the movie advertises three male actors as the main actors. I feel that's entirely unfair towards Hailee Steinfeld.)

    This weekend we watched The Night Of which is an HBO series. I hadn't heard of it until my son mentioned it. You can buy the season or individual episodes on Amazon Prime. Halfway thru and the show is awesome.

    Welcome to Hollywood where the bigger star name counts for more then the amount of screen time (i.e. Jeff bridges and Matt Damon' names attract eyeballs while Steinfeld's doesn't as much; same for the original with John Wayne). Still, she was excellent in this movie.
