From the interview, I'm reassured, and will give it a shot.
I'm glad I was oblique in my phrasing.

    Based loosely on his life.

"The Liberator" pseudo animated WWII Series on Netflix about the Thunderbirds unit from Oklahoma. Some may not like the animation style but the story is good enough to deal with it.

Also looking forward to tomorrow's Hulu release of "No man's land" about women kurdish fighter's of the YPJ fighting ISIS.

The Liberator: It's not the animation style that bothered me, but the series as a whole felt a little like a Readers Digest version of Band of Brothers. I got the feeling that huge parts of the story got left out to compress an almost two year campaign down to four 40 minute episodes. Still, I'd say it's worth watching, at least once.

Like the original Borat - at times it is painfully embarrassing to watch, but I don't think I've watched an episode that didn't make me laugh out load at least once.
Greg Davies was my favorite actor on The Inbetweeners, another British series.

It was a pretty easy choice. I'm really not a Marky Mark or whatever his name is fan. (Though I've watched a few films despite his being in them.)
