Has anyone mentioned Eye in the Sky? Came across this clip of the late Allen Rickman by accident. Looks interesting.

    A trailer:

I've been rewatching it on Amazon Prime and just finished season 2.
I had forgotten how good a villain Mags Bennett was, and how much I enjoyed Loretta McReady (played by Kaitlyn Dever, who was also great in the recently cancelled Last Man Standing).

I am also. When I am in the basement tinkering (the household code word for reloading/working on guns) I want something on, but not something I have to watch. I had started to watch Narcos again but you have to actually look at the TV because of all of the Spanish.

We binged on The Americans right after Justified and it was funny when Mags shows up.

It has been on my watch list but the trailer just bumped it up in priority.

Watched it last night and despite being predictable remained suspenseful. The style was not unlike early seasons of 24 but with much less of the annoying melodrama.

Watched the new Aliens movie Saturday. Didn't enjoy it at all. Not much action and moved pretty slow. It was very predictable.

I empathize. Multitasking is strictly verboten when Gomorrah is on.

In a rare move, the show’s writers decided to use the local Neapolitan language instead of Italian. (Even in Italy the show has a subtitle option.) “Neapolitan is the language of the theater,” says Mr. D’Amore. “It means that this TV show looks and sounds real because the actors were able to use a language they are used to thinking in.”

That's a really good show, particularly if you grew up in the 80s. Looking forward to Season two.

Because of the chatter here I watched Eye in the Sky last night. I have to say I was put off right from the beginning and it continued to rub me the wrong way throughout.

I felt like I was watching some liberal director's statement. Perhaps someone else would have felt it was more about what the politicians and war fighters had to go through but I just keep smelling pacifist crapola.
