I thought that Spider-Man: No Way Home was a chaotic, hot mess. It might have helped if I had seen any of the movies since Spider-Man 2.
If we have to march off into the next world, let us walk there on the bodies of our enemies.
So, despite season 1 being the steaming turd that it is, I did take note of your recommendation. Took me a while to be desperate enough to find something new to watch to try the second season, but the time did finally arrive.
Okay, so I watched the first episode of season 2. I didn't see anything different than season 1. A whole bunch of random nameless retards randomly killing each other in retarded ways for little apparent reason. Apparently the only conceivable survival mechanism in a zombie apocalypse is to murder some random passerby and steal their shit. After watching several episodes of season 1 and episode 1 of season 2, I have yet to see a single character act in an intelligent, moral, and ethical manner. Or even in a just intelligent manner. This isn't entertainment and it certainly doesn't tell a story. It's just murder porn. With both the murderers and the murderees being fucking stupid all the time.
So... Sorry mate, but I think I might have to disagree with your recommendation.
The revival of the old Law and Order - with the half crime, half court format. It was watchable. I do think (LEO and lawyer opinions?) that the police conduct and trial judge were not realistic and real lawyers would have taken the prosecution apart on procedural grounds. Bad Miranda, should have had mistrial, when the testifying cop destroys the DA's strategy on purpose - what happens to him?
The defendant goes downtown - even not under arrest. Doesn't scream: LAWYER! Does the Perry Mason theme of confessing: I did it - he deserved it. Another ADA lies for her.
I should watch Peacemaker and Reacher for realism. Got sick of Ukraine, so I watched Diners, Drive Ins and Dives for awhile. Not the Ukraine thread but watching folks say: Here come the sanctions! - Give me a break.
I am liking Reacher more as a TV show than a book series, even though they are playing Reacher as borderline autistic.
I’m a fan of Roscoe.
I was into 10mm Auto before it sold out and went mainstream, but these days I'm here for the revolver and epidemiology information.
I caught the first episode of "Vikings: Valhalla" last night. I think it's going to be pretty good. It supposedly takes place 100 years after the events depicted in the History Channel show of the same name. One of the characters is Leif Eriksson.
They really dress down Frida Gustavsson, the lady who plays his sister. Not only does she not wear makeup, I'm not sure they don't use makeup to make her skin look even worse. She's still a babe though.
My wife and I finished the 3rd season of “WestWorld” last night.
Summary- it’s gotten worse with each season.
The 3rd season started off kind of interesting, and went downhill. It had some interesting commentary on free will and social credits, though.
The last episode “ended”, and we looked at each other saying “WTF?” While the credits rolled and Pink Floyd played.
Then the credits ended and some more story came on. We thought “oh, now it will make sense.”
Nope. More “WTF?”
