I have their triggers in a couple of my Marlin 336's and like them. I am not sure they are huge game changers like a Timney Trigger in a Remington 700, etc... but they are nice and do improve the feel of the trigger. I have not used their ejectors as I have never had a factory one break. The kit is appealing though and I am tempted to go through my Marlins and upgrade one by one. I will save the original parts incase I ever want to convert them back to sell.

    my only lever gun

My Winchester 1894 purchased in 1964. The guy I bought it from shot 5 rounds to sight it in, cleaned itand put it away. I bought it for $35.00.

Man, if through some quirk of fate, I was transported into some dystopian world where I could only have one gun and a cartable stash of ammo to run it... I’m not saying that the exact gun you have would be it, but that exact gun would be on a damn short list.

Was over on BushcraftUSA and came across a thread by a fellow about his Marlin 1894CST which led me to his youtube channel. He's doing a series on upgrades to it, several of which I hadn't heard of before. Here's his playlist.

    https://www.youtube.com/playlist?lis...zSO4ItA5w-E3kf

That led me down a rabbit hole to this video on a custom tactical-ish 336. Basically an XLR cut down to the 336 equivalent of a CST but he didn't bother to have the front sight reinstalled. But I thought it was neat anyway.

Then that led me to videos on the Marlin 336 and 1895 Dark rifles and the Marlin custom shop and a bunch of others. Trying to quash that urge until I get more evil semi-autos and stacks of mags. In the mean time I might have to dust off the 336W and see what I can do with it.

I can see putting a suppressor on a lever gun, but to me a lever gun is all about its handling and carrying characteristics. There are better types available for mounting bipods, rails, etc... in my opinion.

I wouldn't copy it but there's some cool stuff there, I like the Midwest MLOK fore end. I wouldn't want a vert grip on mine but I bet it really helps pull the gun into your shoulder while running the action quickly. I mainly just want a longer fore end and some place to mount a light. The playlist I linked, he hasn't gotten to it yet but he posted pics on another board of the finished rifle and he has shell holders mounted to his which seems pretty handy.
