    Did they specify which summer?

Rossi has a new .30-30 out. Similar to the Marlin 336 but with some internal differences and less expensive. The Scheels in Colorado Springs says they have the 16" version in stock for $850. To say I'm tempted is an understatement.

    Clearly not this one.

Put a 1953 Winchester 94 in lay-a-way last week. Got it for $600 +T&T. I like Rossi's but I will take a Winchester or JMarlin any day over a Rossi. I do have a Rossi 92 "Trapper" in .357. that's a fun gun to shoot, though!

I was into 10mm Auto before it sold out and went mainstream, but these days I'm here for the revolver and epidemiology information.

I like everything about it, but the wood used for the furniture is less than stellar.

I'd buy one of those in 357. I've got lots of 2400 powder I need to do something with. I load 30 carbine with it but I just don't shoot my carbine enough to use all of that powder before I die. Marlin 94 is the answer. Make mine with a 20" barrel please.
In the P-F basket of deplorables.
