What grips are those on the Model 29?

Can I ask what rig so you carry it in?

    Amazing pictures.

The grips are Herretts Ropers, which are an Idaho based company.

The rig I use primarily is a 200AW by Milt Sparks. I have never found a better (comfort/fit/quality) holster for big bore/heavy handguns.
Sparks is another Idaho based company.

Rule number one then is to not grow up. Getting older is fine but ya can't lose your sense of adventure, nor your sense of humor..

Plus, I'm in E. Washington. Road trip; coming up, thanks to this.

Nice trip report! I've been through some of that area, I'd go see it again any time I had the chance. I agree the Cody Museum is pretty amazing. I've been in it a few times in the past, its enough to wear your eyes out! Old Trail Town on the edge of town was also really cool.

I need to get out more.

I visited that museum as a kid.

Dad had bought a Rambler station wagon in CA packed all of us, and grandma
into it and headed east. I hear the collection is much bigger now but it was
    pretty impressive then, as well.

It's on my list of places to go back to. I have already made it to Mt. Rushmore,
Wall Drug, and the concrete dinosaurs in Rapid City, three other places we visited on that trip.

Beautiful land out there. Thank you for sharing!

I would love to come over there some day.
