Week 126: Defoor Pistol Test 1

Not to be pedantic, but Defoor states it should be shot from 6 yards, not 7 yards. Shot 2 weeks cold.

Couple of things:

1. I don't have USPSA targets.
2. I do have some cardboard backers at my range, but they're all shot up.
3. I improvised the scoring zones. I really just wanted to shoot the drill or something like it, so it's close enough for me. It's not exact for official-ness. See attached picture.

Anyhow, I had some free time before the range opened up to the public so I figured I could get away with being downrange and shooting.

Concealed, G19 w/ Trijicon HDs, AE 124gr FMJ @ 1150FPS. In the interest of transparency, yesterday I shot my PPS and did a bit of dry fire work with a SIRT.

String 1: FAIL/28.85/39pts - 1-6/1-7/2-8/1-X. I suck at 25yd bullseye shooting. I dropped one completely off the paper.
String 2: PASS/1.65/-0
String 3: FAIL/4.01/-1. I had all the time in the world and went into it thinking I'd take it slow and ensure my hits, but towards the end of the string I felt the urge to speed up. Slapped the trigger on the last round. Probably would have gotten it had I slowed down just a tad.
String 4: PASS/2.12/-0. Took my time, got good hits (now why can't I do this consistently on the FAST?).
