Anyone picked up a new Ruger SBH Bisley in .454 or .480 yet?

The idea is uncommonly interesting to me. Only thing I'd like to see more is some double-action 10/.40 double-actions and single-actions from Ruger.

I'm waiting for the .480s. They are reportedly in production now, with availability expected in about 4 weeks. .454s are already available.

I'd have preferred a 5.5" barrel with the standard ejector rod housing, but the 6.5" isn't objectionable.

Looks like. It'd be right at 5.5ish if bobbed square with that long ERH. I'm kinda likin the idea of a .480 Ruger tossing heavy metal Wadcutters at about 1,000 or so. It would smack.

I've got serious lust for one but I can't decide on caliber.

I am still looking for a 5.5 inch 44 mag version. I have a six shot 45 colt already
